Due to the security situation in the Middle East, KLM has adjusted its flight schedule in the region. We are closely monitoring developments and will update our schedules where possible. We are doing our very best to help you on your way again.
Current schedule
KLM is currently not flying through the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Israel, nor over several countries in the Gulf region. Flights to, from, or via destinations in the region are canceled or adjusted.
- Tel Aviv: KLM suspended the remainder of its winter season operations to and from TLV, effective March 1, 2026.
- Dammam, Dubai, Riyadh: Flights to and from Dammam, Dubai, and Riyadh are suspended until March 8, 2026.

Register your location
We are working closely with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support possible repatriation flights to the Netherlands. Please note that the Ministry manages all passenger lists and seat assignments for these flights.

Rebooking and requesting a refund
If you have booked a flight to, from or via the below-listed destinations from Saturday 28 February 2026 to Monday 09 March 2026, you can see below what rebook and refund options we can offer you. These options are only valid if you have a ticket originally issued on or before Monday 02 March 2026.
- Dubai (DXB)
- Riadh (RUH)
- Dammam (DMM)
1. Rebook to a different travel date
- You can only change your travel dates for free if the same travel class is available as mentioned on your original ticket.
- Your new departure date should be before or on Friday, March 20, 2026.
2. Request a travel voucher
If you prefer to cancel your flight and request a travel voucher:
- The voucher will be valid for one year from the date of issue.
- It can be used for all KLM, Air France, Delta, and Virgin Atlantic flights that are offered on the Air France KLM website.
- The voucher can also be used to buy extra options like upgrades, specific seats, and baggage on KLM and Air France flights.

3. Request a refund
If any of your flights are canceled, you can request a full refund of the ticket and any extras.
3. Unforeseen expenses
If you have unforeseen expenses due to cancelation, such as extra meals, hotel costs, or phone calls, you could request reimbursement.
Contacting the embassy
Due to the energy crisis in Cuba from Thursday 12 February 2026 to Sunday 29 March 2026, some of our flights to, from or via Havana (HAV) are disrupted. We are doing our very best to help you on your way again.
Rebooking and requesting a refund
If you have booked a flight to, from or via Havana (HAV) between Thursday 12 February and Sunday 29 March 2026, you can see below what rebook and refund options we can offer you. These options are only valid if you have a ticket originally issued on or before Monday 23 February 2026.
Does your original flight depart between Thursday 12 February and Sunday 29 March 2026 to, from or via Havana (HAV), then your new departure date should be on or before Saturday 23 February 2027. You can rebook your flight at the latest on Saturday 23 February 2027. Please see below options and rules:
1. Rebook to a different travel date
If your flight was cancelled by us or if you cancelled the flight yourself, you can rebook to a different travel date. Please note that:
- You can only change your travel dates for free if the same travel class is available as mentioned on your original ticket.
- Your new departure date should be before or on Saturday 23 February 2027.
2. Request a travel voucher
If you prefer to cancel your flight and request a travel voucher:
- The voucher will be valid for one year from the date of issue.
- It can be used for all KLM, Air France, Delta, and Virgin Atlantic flights that are offered on the Air France KLM website.
- The voucher can also be used to buy extra options like upgrades, specific seats, and baggage on KLM and Air France flights.

3. Request a refund
If any of your flights were cancelled or if your flight was delayed for at least 3 hours for flights in Europe or at least 5 hours for intercontinental flights, you can request a full refund of the ticket and extra options.
